I am sure there will be plenty of people who have no idea who Arlo Guthrie is.
Or who his father was.

I stumbled across this quote when I was looking for something that matched my feelings this morning.
It was to do with the people I have met on the course I am on this week – group supervision.
Me and thirteen other lucky people with the view you see in the photograph from our “classroom” window.
Some of them are or will become friends, and that is in part because we trust each other and understand we really don’t need to agree to get along.
That has a real value to me.
As does the memory of Arlo’s first song which I believe I first heard in full in 1974.
I can remember where, pretty much when, and who I was with. And some of those people are still friends today.
