And I am truly grateful that I get to choose who I work with now.
No more toxic management and absent leadership for me.
Except…
My clients get it a lot.
Why is the standard of management so poor in so many companies?
I really don’t understand why management is not seen as an important skill.
Too often we promote competent people up to management without training.
I guess their managers are similarly untrained and the whole thing self-perpetuates.
Just think how effective our companies could be and how much happier people would be if we fixed that.
