Are April Fools stories better thanks to social media?
Or are the desperate attempts to fool us so transparent now?
Then again, how often in recent years have you read a story and checked the date?
I think the simple and innocent pranks work best.
As I read the paper and scanned the online news this morning I hadn’t thought about which were pranks.
In my blissful little holiday bubble, the passage of time is unnoticed anyway.
So I’ve probably been fooled at least once.
Just like every other day of the year then!
