We have been blessed with glorious sunshine every day we have been in Wales. There was a stiff breeze for about 36 hours, but that did not affect us – sunshine is sunshine.
I am in a happy place physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
This little steam railway was the first preserved by volunteers in 1951 and is still going strong despite the limitations of lockdowns.
I first visited in 1968 as a child – we had many family holidays in this area. I suppose that some of the deep relaxation I feel is the familiarity of the surroundings.
Some of it though is the pace of life, the distance from London, and the distance from any kind of “work”.
I’m not even writing, except these daily words, as I want to be present, “in the moment” for as much as possible.
If I was a battery, my charge level would be 100%.
